Jack Mangan (Journalist, Writer) – Executive Director, Founder of Support Life And Music

Jack Mangan is a board member and writer at the official Metal Hall of Fame, a journalist with MetalAsylum.net, and a freelance contributor to The Metal Voice. No, he doesn’t have a patched denim jacket (anymore). He began his media career in the earliest days of podcasting. Since 2005, he’s hosted, performed, and made guest appearances on over 100 different shows. His own Deadpan podcast (2006 – 2014) has been featured in numerous editions of Wiley Press’s “Podcasting For Dummies.” Jack has been a professional musician, recording on 2 albums with Matt Mango and performing at venues across New Jersey and Arizona. Additionally, he’s published a number of fiction and nonfiction works across various mediums and markets.
He began his nonprofit career in 2001 with Easter Seals New Jersey (2001-2003, 2007-2008), and continued in that world as Vice-President of the Joe Murphy Memorial Fund (2007 – 2008), and a staffer with Immunization Ambassadors (2016-2019).

Eric Haley is an attorney, journalist, ice skater, chef, and lifelong music enthusiast.
Evo Terra Podcast Strategist – S.L.A.M. Band member (Advisory Council)

Evo Terra is an award-winning podcaster and member of the Podcast Hall of Fame. The author of both Podcasting For Dummies and Expert Podcasting Practices for Dummies, Evo had the 40th podcast ever, published in October of 2004.
He’s been the host or co-host of over 20 different podcasts and has either consulted for, edited, or advised on over 1000 podcasts. He runs a strategic podcast consultancy (Simpler Media), teaches podcasting at Arizona State University, and curates the best fiction podcasts at The End, the only listener-focused directory for completed audio fiction.
Dr. Sheila Unwin Educator– S.L.A.M. Band member (Advisory Council)

An educator since 1999, Sheila holds both a B.Sc. in Elementary Studies, an M.Ed. in Curriculum, Instruction, and Design, and an Ed.D in Organizational Leadership. In her 20-plus year career, she has taught students at all levels, from 1st grade to Master level students, adapting her student-centered approach to various environments. She has worn many hats beyond teaching during her time in the education sector, including Instructional Designer and Dean of Curriculum.
Sheila was a world traveler and ex-pat. In early 2015, she left the country, traveling through 13 countries and across 3 continents. In 2016, she and her husband, Evo, decided to make Thailand their home, where she was quickly pulled into the international school system. By the end of her time abroad, she served as the principal of a Thai private school while teaching computer classes. Currently, she is the Executive Director of Curriculum Services for Aspen University. She spends her days creating compelling, engaging curricula for 37 different programs. She has written curriculum guides for multiple New York Times best-selling authors,
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, biking around Phoenix, AZ, and continues to explore the world through her lens as a photographer.
Sarah Hyde Entrepreneur – S.L.A.M. Band member (Advisory Council)

Sarah Hyde is an entrepreneur with a strong background in building and scaling products within the startup ecosystem. With a career spanning product management, technical analysis, and operations, Sarah brings a pragmatic and strategic approach to problem-solving. A graduate of the University of Colorado, Sarah’s passion extends beyond the professional realm. With a BA in both Communication and Sociology, community is in her DNA. Sarah is a lifelong advocate for local and indie music, a passion deeply rooted in her upbringing. “Hipster before it was cool” barely scratches the surface. Raised in a home filled with music, from playing instruments to attending live shows, Sarah understands the profound impact music has on everyone around us. While life has shifted from frequent concert attendee, Sarah is thrilled to join the S.L.A.M. band and contribute to the music scene as more than just a fan, giving back to a community that has enriched her life in countless ways.
Jack Frost Musician – S.L.A.M. Band member (Advisory Council)

Jack Frost is a fixture in the music industry. He broke into the Heavy Metal scene with his first band, Frostbite, back in 1994, and from there, he’s lent his monster stage presence and signature guitar sound to such iconic bands as Seven Witches, SPEEED, Metalium, The Bronx Casket Company, Savatage, Lizzy Borden, Joey Belladonna, Aldo Nova, and many more. He’s also renowned for his songwriting, musical teaching, and expertise. Clearly, Jack loves what he does, and as long as there’s music to make, Jack will be out there making it!
